Our Commitment
We've invested heavily in developing innovative waste management solutions to help our customers reduce the impact of their activities on the environment.
We’re committed to maximising the recovery of reusable materials and minimising the volume sent to landfill. In 2003 we invested in a top-of-the-range materials recovery facility (MRF).
We currently recycle 85-90% of construction waste, up to 100% of waste paper and card and 70% of all the waste that we handle.
We’ll soon be installing an additional machine to mechanically sort smaller items of waste to help us recycle even more.
For commercial customers we can supply monthly reports showing how much of each waste stream has been successfully recycled.
We believe that being responsible about dealing with waste in a sustainable way - into the future - makes both economical and ecological sense.
