Due to our continuous growth and expansion we are looking to recruit an Experienced Skip Lorry Driver with an HGV Class 2 licence for our busy waste management depot based at Slyfield, Guildford. Experience of working as a skip operative is essential.
Hours are Monday to Friday 7am – 5.30pm and every other Saturday 7am – 12.30pm

Due to our continuous growth and expansion, Chambers Waste Management are looking to recruit an Experienced Foreman Fitter for our busy workshop environment based at Slyfield, Guildford.
Hands on position so your own tools will be required.
This workshop is responsible for the maintenance and servicing of approx 50 x HGVs from 44 tonnes down to small vans
The role includes the management of three commercial vehicle fitters
Must have the ability to work alongside our transport office to enable them to maintain customer service efficiently
You will be in charge of a modern 8 bay workshop
You will be responsible for planning the daily workload of the workshop with the Service department and manage day to day tasks
Maintain progress information for each allocated job, liaising with technicians and the service controller to ensure customers are kept informed at all times, whilst delivering a high standard of customer service and motivating your team
Foreman/Skilled HGV Technician skills/qualifications:
Must have previous Workshop Forman experience
Must have HGV Technician experience
Be highly organised with strong leadership skills, high standard of workmanship and the ability to motivate your team
Identify problems in the workshop and understand how to fix them
Capable of mentoring and developing our apprentices
Have a good understanding of health and safety , complying with all company standards
Good organisation skills, with the ability to prioritise jobs, ensuring the smooth running of the workshop
Strong communication skills are essential
You must be driven, task orientated and be able to give quick solutions to any issues that may arise
Monday to Friday - 7am to 5.30pm plus Every other Saturday 7am to 12.30pm

Customer Service and Sales Coordinator - based at our Guildford Depot - (Slyfield)
Due to our continuous growth and expansion, we are looking to recruit a Customer Service and Sales Coordinator to join our busy team based in Guildford.
You will be responsible for dealing with a range of Customers from National Construction Companies through to small, independent businesses and private householders.
Working in a telephone based sales office, you will have a passion for delivering an excellent Customer experience that will enable us to continue our growth through repeat and new business.
Ideally you will have experience within a Customer Service environment and be able to demonstrate an ability to identify opportunities for cross selling and up selling to promote all the services we are able to offer.
Hours will be a 08.00 to 17.30 Monday to Friday and there will be a requirement to work 07.00 to 12.30 one in three Saturdays.
In return we offer a salary of up to £26,000 a year (depending on experience) and you will receive excellent benefits, including Private Health Care, Life Cover and Pension.

Heavy Plant Fitter – based at our Quarry in Runfold, Farnham
Due to our continuous growth and expansion, Chambers Runfold Plc are looking to recruit a Heavy Plant Fitter at our Quarry in Runfold, Farnham.
The successful applicant must have previous experience of working on heavy plant and large quarrying machinery, together with the ability to work well under pressure, be able to actively problem solve and possess good verbal communications skills.
Main duties will involve routine maintenance and general repairs on heavy plant and large quarrying machinery, in addition to diagnosing and rectifying all types of faults.
Hours are 7am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday and every other Saturday 7am – 12.30pm
