Displaying our heritage whilst supporting Macmillan Cancer Support

Chambers were proud to support a great cause whilst showing off a bit of our heritage over the weekend at the Clandon Classic Motor Show. The event was held in the beautiful surroundings of Clandon Park Estate with all the proceeds going to Macmillan Cancer Support to help people living with cancer receive essential medical, practical and emotional support.

We put our lovingly restored 1963 Thames Trader Tipper on display in the line up of over 450 other classic vehicles. The Tipper truck includes a 6 cubic yard tipper body and is very similar to the first ever lorry purchased by Peter Chambers when he started the business back in 1969. Refurbishment started back in 2014 and it took over 2 years to restore it back to its former glory and it has since also taken part in the London to Brighton commercial vehicle run during the last couple of years.
