Chambers Keeps Surrey County Show Litter Free

At Chambers we are now starting to look forward to the May bank holidays which of course includes the Surrey County Show, which takes place on Monday, 29th May 2017 at Stoke Park in Guildford.

The Surrey County Show is a fantastic family day out, bringing the countryside and rural life into the heart of Guildford. It brings together hundreds of animals, food and drink, top class entertainment, exquisite rural crafts and competition to provide an unmissable day out with something for every member of the family. The show is held on the 66 acre site of Stoke Park and is the biggest one day agricultural show in the UK.

The event attracts around 40,000 visitors every year and once again we are very proud to play our part in the event by keeping the site litter free. This year we will be providing 150 Chambers wheeled bins which will be located at recycling points around the show. Then after the event all of the waste is taken back to our modern recycling facility in Guildford where we achieve recycling rates of 98%.
