Supporting Children with Cancer

Julie Cashell Runs 52+ Miles Across Wales to Support Children’s Cancer Charities

On Saturday 26th June, Julie Cashell will take on an extraordinary challenge. She will run the full width of Wales in a single day. Covering over 52 miles and climbing a total of 5,000ft, this non-stop run supports two vital children’s cancer charities – Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital Charity and LATCH at the Heath Hospital in Cardiff. These charities provide essential care, advice, and support to children and their families affected by life-threatening cancer.

Julie’s route starts at the England/Wales border in Anchor. She will run across mountains, valleys, and rivers, finishing on the stunning West Coast of Wales in Borth. The journey will be both physically demanding and breathtakingly scenic.

A dedicated team of volunteers, led by Zoe Vicary, has supported Julie’s fundraising efforts. They have knitted and sold multiple copies of their mascot, Dewi the Dragon. Their hard work has helped the campaign get very close to the £5,000 target.

The Chambers team is proud to back Julie in this remarkable challenge. We admire her courage, determination, and strength. By raising awareness and funds for Noah’s Ark and LATCH, Julie’s run will make a real difference for children battling cancer across Wales.
