Lynn raises £300 for Diabetes UK
Our PA, Lynn Theobald, has raised nearly £300 for Diabetes UK by completing a 10 mile sponsored walk – and she did it while recovering from a broken foot!
Lynn took part in the annual London Bridges Challenge with a couple of old school friends. The course took them over 12 of the city’s iconic bridges, starting with the Albert Bridge and finishing at Tower Bridge.
Lynn said: “It was only a 10 mile-walk but I found it quite a challenge as I was still recovering after breaking my foot while on holiday in Croatia.
“Despite the pain it was a great day, with plenty of laughs along the way and the weather was kind to us! Thanks to everyone who sponsored me, especially Chambers who donated £150.”
Diabetes UK uses the money raised at the London Bridges Challenge to fund research and provide care, support and know-how to people affected by diabetes. www.diabetes.org.uk
