Skip driver Terry retires from Chambers after 15 years

We’re sadly saying goodbye to our colleague Terry Fullick, who has worked as a Chambers skip driver for the past 15 years.

Based at our Guildford Recycling Centre, Terry has been committed to his role of delivering, exchanging and collecting our full range of skips to households, businesses and construction sites within a 20 mile radius.

Terry said: “It’s been a good career, and I’ve enjoyed my time at Chambers. There’s a good team here, and I’ve also met lots of interesting customers during my deliveries.

“Chambers has grown dramatically since I started – even two recessions didn’t touch it!  The recycling division is huge now – and it’s great that the company is committed to ensuring that no waste is sent to landfill.”

Chambers Transport Manager Steve Enderby added: “Terry has been a real asset to us, we shall miss having him here as part of the team. We all wish him a very happy, well deserved retirement!”

Terry is planning to spend his retirement enjoying his garden, playing golf and travelling in his motor home, not to mention a trip or two to Australia to see his daughter.
